I’ve been involved with UC Berkeley’s Microbiology Student Group (MSG) in various capacities throughout my graduate school tenure. This page highlights one event I was particularly proud of, the year I was head organizer of the spring symposium. This was the first year we held the meeting in the beautiful Li Ka Shing Center and it marks the birth of MSG’s Twitter presence. I learned a tremendous amount about organizing a research symposium and was quite thankful to have a good team supporting me. Check out @UCBerkeleyMicro or MSG’s Facebook page for more info about the organization.
